REL’s focus on wellbeing within the workplace has been recognised by Great Place to Work® in this year’s list of companies identified as a ‘Centre of Excellence in Wellbeing’.
A part of the Best Workplaces™ survey, 17 statements are included relating to wellbeing in the workplace. The statements measure aspects such as work environment, mental and physical health and interpersonal relationships. These statements combine to determine the Great Place to Work® Wellbeing Index for which the required threshold for Large Companies is 70% and REL is proud to have achieved 85%.

Focus on wellbeing in the workplace has been more important this year than ever. Given the difficult, unpredictable and incredibly challenging year that we’ve all experienced, the wellbeing initiatives and resources we already had in place for our people were essential. Throughout the year we have continued to expand our existing wellbeing programme, making more resources and support readily available for our people.
Our recognition from Great Place to Work as a Centre of Excellence in Wellbeing demonstrates the commitment REL is making to create the best workplace environment possible and is a fantastic piece of news to end the year with. As ever, there’s always more that can be done and 2021 will see an increased focus on wellbeing within the workplace as well as on mental health awareness.
